We’ve had a great birthday celebration here – grandparents, three children and spouses and nine grandchildren. Both houses are very comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. We’ve been blessed with great weather and have felt very well looked after. Thank you.

Highly recommended by four generations! The house is lovely, so well equipped, spotless and plenty of space for families to share. We have really enjoyed our celebration and thank you for all the extras, especially the cake (delicious). We will certainly recommend to other families. Wonderful views, lovely garden and well placed for spending time at Dunbar and towns nearby. Highly recommend The Rocks restaurant at Dunbar.

We had a great holiday; plenty of places to see, relaxing surroundings with plenty of space to party and cook. Ideally situated for Edinburgh, Berwick upon Tweed, coastal walks, forest walks & villages. Some great days and room in the gardens for badminton, rounders, egg & spoon, three legged and sack races and BBQ.

We had a fabulous family reunion here. Everything worked out really well, so thank you for presenting Red Gauntlet so well. The welcome tiffin was lovely and it got our girls competing with their own brownies so we will all go home slightly bigger than when we arrived.

Thank you for a lovely holiday. Red Gauntlet was beautiful, it was spacious and you had provided everything we needed even the little touches were so much appreciated. We had a lovely time going to all the local beaches and little coves. My dogs were really settled and enjoyed all the lovely walks. The beds were comfortable and big! Also thank you for supplying towels that went round us bigger folk!

The place is lovely, but was taken over by the wedding! Thank you for the cakes we will have to go on a diet now. Beautiful time. Perfect location to fit comfortably our big extended family. Kids loved the ponies and the adults loved cosying up by the fire. I’m sure we’ll be back.

A perfect location for our walking/golfing/eating/drinking/sleeping half term break. The weather was glorious and this perfect setting surpassed our expectations. The location is super with beautiful views of the coast and it lends itself to the activities listed above without having to venture too far afield. Fantastic. A place to which we will return in the future. Tracy couldn’t have been more helpful and her suggestion of The Rocks restaurant in Dunbar is one that must be followed up. Thank you again.
