Terms and Conditions

Deposit and Final payment

In order to secure your holiday accommodation at Tower Farm a deposit of 20% of the total booking fee must be paid at the time of making the booking. The booking will only be confirmed once a completed booking form with the 20% deposit is received. The final payment must be paid 4 weeks (28 days) before the holiday start date.

Cancellations

Notification of cancellation must be made in writing or by email as soon as possible. In every situation we will endeavour to fill the accommodation once we know you are not able to take the accommodation over the earlier agreed period. However, if we can not fill the accommodation then the deposit payment becomes non refundable. A cancellation made less than 4 weeks (28 days) of the holiday will mean we retain 50% of the total cost of the accommodation and will refund you the other 50%. Where notification is given less than 2 weeks (14 days) then full cost of the holiday will be retained.

Insurance

It is always advisable to have good travel insurance that will cover you for any eventuality during the period of your holiday. We are not liable to our guests or members of our guests' party for any loss or damage to any belongings of theirs or any of their visitors. Nor are we responsible for acts of negligence or wilful damage caused to the guest, any member of his/her party or visitor, by any other person(s).

Safety

Tower Farm is a working farm and therefore has farm machinery and traffic entering the steading area. It is your responsibility to keep away from these areas and remain with in the house grounds/gardens. Adults/parents are responsible for their children and must supervise them at all times. We will not be held responsible for any accidents that occur on or near to Tower Farm.

Some little rules

The houses at Tower Farm are non smoking properties. There is plenty of space outside to smoke and since the Scottish Executive introduced the smoking ban in public places such as bars, restaurants and cafes it has become very acceptable and for some a refreshing and pleasant change.

We are aware that small breakages do happen like the odd broken glass for example. However, please respect the condition of the houses, their contents and gardens and leave them as you found them – in one piece, neat and tidy. As way of helping us and you with this, we request a £100 cash/cheque deposit on your arrival. This will be returned on your departure provided the accommodation has been left in a satisfactory state. If there are any serious damage or breakages during your stay please inform us as soon as possible.

There are other people living on the farm, possibly staying in houses near to you and using the steading. Please respect their privacy and do not become a nuisance.
